Upcoming Game of the Apocalypse
With 63 million novels sold in the Left Behind series, Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye have licensed their name to a game developer which plans to release Left Behind: Eternal Forces, a game where the apocalypse has stripped the earth of millions of people, and your job is to convert more.
The game is designed as a FPS (first-person-shooter), but the weapons are replaced with prayer, and you pray to ward off evil. Even so, Dereck Wong of Left Behind Games in California says, “We wanted it to be a great game first … We are not here to preach to you. It is not a game to be Bible-thumping.”
A demo is available here. The game is expected to be available November 7, 2006 for $49.99, but you can pre-order now.
The graphics don’t look bad, do they?
