“The Adversary of Man”

Perceptions of Evil from Antiquity to Primitive Christianity (Cornell Paperbacks)As man search for purpose, enlightenment, wisdom and identity, he finds trials and obstacles that were not before him prior to his new mission. God Realization is the best kept secret in the microcosm with the guardian of the gates of infinite wisdom being struggle and hardship.

As in the story of Job, the Devil (adversary), acted as an agent of God to test Job’s worthiness to proclaim the name of “righteous.” Life provides man with adverse situations to test his or her inner integrity. To be initiated is to prove one’s self worthy for a select body of knowledge, understanding or position.

Man’s readiness for the adept chambers of life is detailed in the story of Job. Through trial and hardship, man is battle tested to validate his or her faithfulness, patience and psycho-spiritual toughness. The initiatic forces oversees that man is allowed entrance into the gates of infinite wisdom at the appropriate time during the incarnations in the cycles of life and death. As man’s adversary, not God’s, determine preparedness for upward and inward progress toward the “Throne of Eternal Illumination,” Job (You) enters the conscious regions of self for guidance (as represented by his three friends in the book of Job). The struggles of Job are yours without doubt or contradiction as the pearl cannot achieve perfection without the friction from the sand granule, man’s adversary - the Devil.

Stay tuned.
